Quote interpretation
Works averaging under $100,000 or less than 6 Landscape elements (up to 3 quotes) :
$400 (incl. GST) + additional quotes $120 each (incl. GST)

Inclusions: Background licence check on each contractor, breakdown and comparison of quotes supplied benchmarked to building codes and standards, benefits/disadvantage of quotes. This includes a phone consult to discuss outcomes.
Works averaging over $100,000 –$200,000 or up to 9 Landscape elements (up to 3 quotes)
$550 (incl. GST) + additional quotes $160 each (incl. GST)

Inclusions: Background licence check on each contractor, breakdown and comparison of quotes supplied benchmarked to building codes and standards, benefits/disadvantage of quotes. This includes phone consultation to discuss outcomes.
NOTE: a PDF copy of each quote for review is required via email with the contractor’s name and company name. Onsite discussion of results is at an additional cost. Fee for service will apply when quotations provided are outside the above parameters.
Quality assurance
Quality assurance check/s - during works
from $150.00 (incl. GST)

Inclusions: Some landscape elements need to be assessed pre-completion, as they will be covered over and difficult to assess upon completion e.g., concrete (thickness, sub-base and reinforcement), paving (sub-base, drainage elements and retaining walls), prior to back filling or face material covering.

Fee includes email report of findings and recommendations and (if purchased) a quality assurance report.
Quality assurance check report - after completion of works
$800.00 (incl. GST) Additional Landscape elements required $100.00 (incl. GST)

Inclusions: Work including up to 6 Landscape elements – This is a thorough investigation of the quality of work benchmarked to building codes and standards and tolerances. This is detailed in a report with photos where required. This is based on a standard 600m2 residential block.
Note: Landscape elements refer to various components of outdoor work and in cases of large surface areas these may count as 1 element per area e.g. front and rear yard paving would be 2 elements. Areas over 70m2 will be assessed as 1 additional element per 70m2. For projects that fall outside of the parameters above, scope of works will be assessed, and an obligation free quote will be provided to cater for individual
Defect reports / expert witness
Expert witness reports
Our expert witness reports comply with Court and Tribunal Codes of Conduct.
This includes a Scott schedule. This is a report that itemises defective and/or incomplete work and the associated rectifications costs to complete those works.
Quantum meruit reports
I can also supply Quantum meruit reports – this is where courts can order that Landscape contractors and subcontractors are entitled to be paid by quantum meruit.

This simply means what the job is worth. These claims arise from work that is completed as a variation that was not included in the original contract, or if the contract is wrongfully terminated or never existed.
